Hero Honda

Hero Honda Motors Ltd. crossed cumulative sales of four million units for FY 2009-10, in February this year. The company sold 382,096 units during February 2010, an increase of 16% over sales in February last year.

Hero Honda’s sales in the current fiscal, at the end of February this year, stood at 4,185,492 units.

Bajaj Auto

Bajaj sold 234,623 motorcycles during February 2010, a 78% increase over the sales figure for February 2009. The company, which recently exited the scooters segment, also sold around 90 scooters (from old stock left with dealers) during February this year.

Bajaj also sold 33,968 three-wheelers during February 2010, a 59% increase over the figure for February last year.

Yamaha

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) sold a total (domestic + exports) of 25,766 motorcycles during February this year, a 48% increase over the sales figure for February 2009. The company exported 9,453 units in February this year, compared to 3,559 units during February 2009.
