Tata Nano prices announced, top-end variant to cost Rs 1.85 lakh in Mumbai!

The Rs one-lakh-car? Er... well, almost!

 

Tata Motors has announced prices for all variants of the Nano, which was launched in Mumbai yesterday. As promised by Ratan Tata himself, the Standard version of the car is priced at Rs one lakh, ex-factory. However, this price is exclusive of transportation charges and VAT.

The cheapest Tata Nano (Standard, BS2) will cost Rs 112,735 ex-showroom Pantnagar. The BS3 variant (Standard model) will cost Rs 123,360 ex-showroom Delhi and Rs 134,250 ex-showroom Mumbai. The Tata Nano CX will cost up to Rs 1.63 lakh while the top-end Nano LX will cost up to Rs 1.85 lakh! (For details, refer to the price chart above)

Nano bookings will remain open from the 9th to the 25th of April and application forms will be available for Rs 300, at Tata Motors passenger car dealerships, State Bank of India and its branches, its subsidiaries and associates, and outlets of Westside, Croma, ‘World of Titan’ and Tata Indicom stores.
