
ŠkodaAuto will show the new, facelifted Fabia hatchback, Fabia Estate and the Roomster CUV at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Cosmetic updates to the Fabia and Roomster cars include redesigned radiator grilles and wider headlamps.
Škoda has also updated the engines for the Fabia and Roomster, with both vehicles being available with 1.2-litre TSI petrol and 1.6-litre common-rail TDI diesel engines. In Europe, both engines are available in various stages of tune and the top-of-the-range 105bhp 1.2 petrol is also available with a twin-clutch seven-speed DSG transmission.
We believe the revamped Fabia could be launched in India within the next few months, since Škoda would want to offer a freshened-up product in order to take on newer hatchbacks like the Ford Figo, Nissan Micra and VW Polo, all of which will be on sale in India shortly.
And while we’re sure you’re sick of hearing about the impending launch of the Roomster, we’re also reasonably sure this crossover will also be launched in India. Soon. Er… probably…
