Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) has announced an increase in prices of all its cars, which it says has been necessitated by the considerable depreciation of the Indian Rupee and the strong Japanese Yen against the US Dollar.
Depending on the variant, prices have been hiked by Rs 30-35,000 for the Honda City, Rs 50-63,000 for the Civic and Rs 100,000 for the Accord. Prices on the CR-V, which is imported to India as a CBU, have been hiked by Rs 3.54 lakh.
Revised prices for the City, Civic and CR-V will be effective from the 1st of April and from the 6th of March for the Accord.
