Bentley Mulsanne, the company’s all-new flagship grand tourer was unveiled by the British High Commissioner in New Delhi setting the British ultra-luxury car within the reach of ultra rich Indians for Rs.2.9 crore. The deliveries of the super-luxury car would begin by October-November this year. The car, powered by a 6.7 litre V8 petrol engine, will be rolled out from Bentley’s manufacturing facility at Crewe (UK) and will attract more than 100 per cent import duty in the Indian market. The twin-turbo engine car, which is handcrafted, requires 660 man-hours to assemble, as compared to 5-6 hours for any other car.

Speaking on the occasion, Satya Bagla, managing director, Exclusive Motors who would be selling the luxury car said “We are pleased to launch Mulsanne in India; the car is a modern statement of luxury driving and grand touring. We have introduced this in the Indian market for the Bentley car connoisseurs. We are thrilled with the launch of the Mulsanne and are confident that the car will receive an overwhelming response from the patrons of luxury.”
