2011 Hyundai Elantra to take on Corolla, Civic
Yes, that's the all-new Hyundai Elantra and it could come to India by mid-2011...
For quite some time now, it seemed that Hyundai had simply given up on the Elantra, which has so completely failed to take on segment leaders like the Toyota Corolla Altis and Honda Civic. However, with the spy shot of the all-new, 2011-spec Elantra that you see here, it’s now clear that Hyundai is not about to leave the fight in this segment.
With styling that seems to have taken its cues from the new Sonata (which will almost certainly makes it India debut by the end of this year), the 2011 Elantra certainly looks very good. And with Hyundai’s ever growing expertise with refined, powerful and fuel-efficient engines, we’re sure the new Elantra also have what it takes to compete with the Corolla, Civic and other leading cars in the segment.
