![]() | San Motors was conceived as a never done before project in India. A plethora of models were introduced by other car manufacturers, but one important aspect, which though prevalent overseas, was completely ignored for the Indian market---- a convertible! This left the Indian enthusiast shortchanged again, until a bunch of likeminded enthusiasts with a determination to do what was said couldn't be done. Thus was born San Motors. “San Storm” from San Motors is projected as India's first sports car. This car is powered by a 1149 cc Renault engine which puts output of 60bhp with an extremely low power to weight ratio. San Storm offers comfort, economy, style and a sense of pride of ownership all rolled into one. The Storm was designed by the world famous Le Mans Design Group comprising of Gerard Godfroy the designer, Phillipe Belou the engineer and Christophe Bhir for build and prototyping.
