Lamborghini cars are named after the famous Furruccio Lamborghini from Renazza. He became a vehicle-maintenance in-charge in Rhodes during Second World War after completing his technical study. After a few years Ferruccio Lamborghini established the first car factory in the year 1963 and in 1964 he introduced his first 350 GT Lamborghini on the city street.

Lamborghini is owned by Audi and is renowned for building supercars par excellence. The company's logo has a bull and it aptly accentuates the kind of cars that are rolled out of the factory. Miura, Countach, Diablo, Gallardo, Murcielago - names which exude flamboyance, raw power and beauty.

Lamborghini debuted its first super luxury cars, Lamborghini Murcielago , Lamborghini Gallardo and Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder in India in July 2006. Future plans are to market 50-60 cars per year in this country.
