Tata Indigo GLX
Overview
 | The Indigo is a subcompact sedan based on the Tata Indica platform. It conforms to international safety standards and passed the European standards of safety and also underwent full frontal and offset front crash tests besides endurance safety tests. It is offered in sedan, station wagon, and estate versions, each with petrol and diesel variants. It delivers solid build quality, high performance, and comparatively comfortable and spacious interiors in its class. The Indigo is available in a wide range of variations in India. Among the three diesel variants, two are powered by a 1.4L turbocharged engine and one powered by the turbocharged DICOR engine. The two petrol variants are powered by a 1.4L MPFI engine. A smooth 5-speed manual transmission is standard on all 5 variants. The Indigo car has a longer wheelbase compared to the Indica, which provides wider and more spacious interiors and better storage space. Clear headlamps and trapezoidal taillights enhance overall appearance of the vehicle. |
