BMW's eco-friendly future is inching closer to reality as the company has unveiled the i3 and i8 concepts.

Well, here's an item that proves that being small and nimble has its advantages.
According to tests by German sports car magazine Sport Auto, the BMW 1-Series M Coupe has beaten its big brother the M3 in lapping the Hockenheim.
On the occassion of the New York Auto show, rock music legends KISS debuted four MINI Countryman vehicles, each one wearing one of the KISS band member's iconic faces.
Here's a video taken from the inside of an E60 M5 on the German autobahn which happens across a BMW F10 M5 prototype doing some highway testing.
The 2005 E60 M5 blows past the F10 at more than 290 km/h (180 mph), as we can see on the speedometer reading in the video.
This is all legal, of course, having taken place on a speed limit-free stretch of highway in Germany.
In the video, we get to meet the charming Oliver Heilmer, designer of the interior of the F10 5-Series and a man who also has a fascination for vintage watches - a hobby which may have influenced his work on the 5-Series cabin.
Heilmer also explains the layers of the cabin design and how it is meant to appeal to the common eye.
Enjoy!
